Who are we looking for?

The Junior Project Manager will work within the PMO and the nominated Customer Delivery Team, consisting of the Customer Delivery Team Manager, Programme Manager, Project Lead, Technical Lead, consultants, and developers to play a key role in ensuring projects meet critical success factors and are delivered on time, in scope and within budget.

What will you be doing?

  • Project setup with delivery plans to support delivery leads.
  • Schedule and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors.
  • Monitor existing projects to ensure timely execution and completion.
  • Ensure all project strategies are following company standards.
  • Ensure adherence to all controls and governance as dictated by the ISO 9001 process.
  • Manage the billing of project work once completed by the Delivery Leads.
  • Support consultant led engagements by ensuring key project activities are delivered, completed, and reported accurately internally and to customers. 
  • Coordinate project activities, maintain and updating the project schedule and managing assignments. 
  • Use MI reporting (Microsoft PowerBI and IBM Cognos) to ensure that projects are being delivered to company standards and highlight where tolerance has been breached.
  • Coach and deliver training to internal teams on project tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Act as system administrator for Project Operations (training provided)

Required Skills/Experiences:

  • Proven working experience as a project administrator / project manager in the information technology sector, preferably in a professional service environment.
  • Great computer skills and knowledge of PMO software tools such as Microsoft Project
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Teams/Excel/Outlook/Word/SharePoint/Power BI
  • Demonstrable competence in data analysis, presentation, and reporting 
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, Atlassian Jira, Asana or similar.
